More Literary Spam

I just got some really cheery spam. The subject line: "The pain of love is the pain of being alive. It is a perpetual wound." This is a quote from one Maureen Duffy, who among other things has written a book entitled called The Erotic World of Faery, which apparantly is not a work of Tolkein slash fanfic.

The body of the spam was a passage from Anna Karenina, which included this sentence:
She was listening to the sound of his voice, watching his face and the play of expression on it, touching his hand, but she did not follow what he was saying. She must go, she must leave him,--this was the only thing she was thinking and feeling.
And what was all this heartbreak selling? Diet pills. The spambot seems to think that fat people are unlucky in love.
