Dude, that is some seriously deep stuff, right there. "Listen, My Brother" included not only Luther Vandross (he's at the top of the stairs in the red and white striped shirt) but also Carlos Alomar (rhythm guitar for James Brown, Main Ingredient, and all the really good David Bowie) and Fonzi Thornton (session singer best known for his work with Chic and Roxy Music). Totally awesome find. I'm not sure, but I'm guessing a few more of these guys played on Young Americans, as well.

It's great, isn't it. The simple fact is that Sesame Street had some kick ass musical guests in the 70s.
